Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This cookie policy explains how Inspire Mambo uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://www.inspiremambo.com.
Inspire Mambo is operated by James Gilford, a sole trader trading as Inspire Mambo.
For more information about how we process personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, telephone or other device when you visit a website.
Cookies can help a website:
- Operate correctly
- Maintain security
- Remember choices and preferences
- Load external services
- Understand how visitors use the website
- Support advertising or marketing tools
Similar technologies, including local storage, scripts, tags, pixels and embedded content, may also store information on or access information from your device. This policy refers to these technologies collectively as cookies where appropriate.
2. How we use cookies
We divide cookies and similar technologies into the following categories:
Necessary
These are required for the website to operate securely and provide functions you request. Necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our consent manager because the website may not function correctly without them.
External media
These allow content supplied by third parties, such as Google Maps or YouTube, to load. External services may receive technical information about your device and set their own cookies.
These services are optional and should not load until you provide consent.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors find and use the website.
We do not currently use optional analytics cookies unless they are displayed as an active service in the Klaro consent manager. If analytics are introduced, they will be disabled until you provide consent.
Marketing
Marketing technologies can be used to measure advertising, build audiences or display relevant promotions.
We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies unless they are displayed as an active service in the Klaro consent manager. If introduced, they will require your consent.
3. Cookies and services currently used
Klaro consent manager
We use Klaro to present cookie choices and remember whether you accepted or declined optional services.

Necessary
Up to 180 days
The Klaro cookie is necessary because it allows the website to remember your choices and avoid repeatedly requesting the same decision.
It does not itself enable analytics or advertising.
Necessary website cookies
Our website may use necessary cookies to support security, remember consent preferences and provide functions requested by visitors.
These cookies are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking. They may be created when website functionality requires a secure session and normally expire when the browser session ends or the relevant session expires.
Ordinary visitors may not receive a session cookie unless they use functionality that requires one.
Google Maps
Some pages may contain Google Maps to show the location of Inspire Mambo classes.
Google Maps is a third-party service. If you consent to external media:
- Your browser may connect to Google
- Google may receive your IP address, browser and device information
- Google may set or access cookies
- Information may be processed outside the United Kingdom
The names and duration of cookies used by Google can vary according to your device, account status, location and Google’s own configuration.
Google Maps is categorised as External media and should remain blocked until you consent to it.
You can read Google’s privacy information at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Consent
With the exception of cookies that are strictly necessary, we ask for your consent before storing or accessing cookies or loading third-party services.
When you first visit the website, Klaro allows you to:
- Accept all optional services
- Decline all optional services
- Choose individual purposes or services
- Review information about each service
Declining optional cookies will not prevent you from accessing the main content of the website. However, optional features such as an embedded map may remain unavailable.
Where external content is blocked, you may still be able to access the provider directly using an ordinary external link.
5. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting the Cookie settings link on the website.
Withdrawing consent does not affect any use that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
Klaro can prevent an optional service from loading again, but it may not be able to delete cookies already stored by a third party on that third party’s domain. You can remove these through your browser settings.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies.
The method differs between browsers, but cookie controls can normally be found under privacy, security or website settings.
Blocking all cookies may affect:
- Consent preferences
- Website sessions
- Embedded content
- Other website functionality
Browser controls operate separately from the Klaro consent manager.
7. Third-party services
Third-party providers control the cookies and technologies placed through their services.
Their use of information is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. Inspire Mambo does not control the names, purposes or duration of cookies independently placed by those providers.
We take reasonable steps to prevent optional third-party services from loading before consent, but third-party practices may change.
8. Changes to the services we use
We may introduce, remove or change website services as Inspire Mambo develops.
For example, we may introduce privacy-conscious analytics to understand website traffic or additional booking functionality.
Before introducing a non-essential service, we will take reasonable steps to:
- Add it to the consent manager
- Explain its purpose
- Prevent it from loading before consent
- Update this cookie policy where appropriate
- Request fresh consent if the proposed use is not covered by an existing choice
9. How long cookies last
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies, which normally expire when you close your browser; or
- Persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period or until you delete them.
The durations shown in this policy are indicative and may be shortened if you delete cookies, use private browsing or change your browser settings.
We aim to keep cookie duration proportionate to its purpose.
10. Personal information
Some cookies and external services may process information that identifies or distinguishes your device, such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Cookie identifiers
- Consent choices
- Pages or features accessed
Where this constitutes personal information, our Privacy Policy also applies.
11. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when:
- Our website functionality changes
- We add or remove a third-party service
- A provider changes its cookie practices
- Legal or regulatory requirements change
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
